Okay, Okay so I know it's a pretty typical thing to blog about Lookbook, but in all seriousness...in my opinion of course... it's a really fucking cool site and deserves the blah blah bloggage.
For those of you who haven't tuned into Lookbook it's a fashion conscious site with real street fashion from all around the world. This site has it's similarities to Facebook in the sense that each user creates a profile. Now, the interesting about LB is that not everyone is approved. To become a member of this site you must A) apply and be approved or B) someone must send you an invitation. Pretty cool, eh?
Each user is to post stylish pictures of themselves to contribute to the LB gallery. Keep in mind, it's not that simple. There are rules and standards that must be taken into consideration and if you fail to comply your account will be on low profile or worse DELETED! The more your look is liked/loved by fellow 'lookbookers' the more 'hype' you receive, the better 'karma' you have. It really is interesting, but kind of hard to explain. So let's move on...
The reason I'm addicted to this site is because it's a great source of inspiration for the fashionistas of the world and also it's a great way to make a name for yourself in terms of how creative you can be with your wardrobe. This is especially beneficial for someone headed for a career in the fashion industry ...like myself. :)
